| One of the first members of the AACM and a founder of the Art Ensemble of Chicago, bassist Malachi Favors Maghostut never lost touch with his Chicago roots. Often in that city you’d see him taking local gigs, either as a member of the Ritual Trio or even in pickup bands at the city’s more advanced nightspots. |
